Bump Monday.

39 WEEKS!!!!!

so this is my 40th week and hopefully last week of being pregnant.

Let’s see this week….

“How your baby’s growing: Your baby’s waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it’s likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.”- babycenter.com

SOOOO last week i saw my midwife and she said i was about 1-2 cm dilated and about 80% effaced … which just means my body is doing what it should be.

His head is super low so everything hurts. It hurts to walk lay down stand up blahhh. so ready to get him out. We had our baby shower a few weeks ago so ill try and post about that soon. We also moved and set up our little home so ill post about that soon also.

Not much going on here just trying to rest and get everything set up for Jackson. Today i went to Babies r us and got random things like a breastfeeding cover, Itzbeen, and a munchkin bag dispenser.

The cover is pretty cute i had bought another one and i did NOT like it. It was so weird.

This one is a lot more simple.

and i know this isnt something you need but it got great reviews and it sounds like something that would come in handy so why not.

Itzbeen baby care timer.

helps you track feeding changing naps ect.

We pretty much have everything thing we need for baby. The only thing i havent bought is a breast pump just cuz i want to wait and see how he is at feeding first before i spend that money.

So excited to hold my little one. (not excited about labor though) The time is going by so slow =(

I love it! Try to write about the baby shower and moving before he gets here! tick tock. 😉 You’ll never have time to do it after.
I’m stoked your nursing! I nursed for his whole 1st year. There’s no comparison! DON’T GIVE UP because it’s tough. Even tougher when no one supports your decision. So hang in there!
I love the effort you put in putting tons of pics. It makes it funner for the reader. =D
    Awesome blog!!!!!!! =)

  2. Either your going to have a small baby (which would be nice, all my boys were heavy) or you might still have a week or so. You dont look that big, and your last few weeks your baby gains a lb. a week. Good luck! Cant wait to see pics of the lil guy 🙂
